Women Powering the Organisation: Centara Grand Ladprao Bangkok Hosts “Give To Gain” Initiative to Celebrate International Women’s Day 

Bangkok – Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao Bangkok organised a special initiative under the theme “Give To Gain” in celebration of International Women’s Day, honouring and expressing appreciation to more than 220 female employees who play a vital role in driving the organisation forward.

As part of the activity, handcrafted indigo-dyed fabric bags sourced from a local community in Sakon Nakhon were presented to female team members. The bags, produced using 100 per cent natural indigo dye, were accompanied by thank-you cards and symbolic ribbons from the hotel’s management team as a gesture of encouragement and appreciation.

The event also featured a message board where colleagues could write notes of gratitude, along with a symbolic photo activity representing the concept of “giving and receiving”, reflecting the spirit of the Give To Gain theme. In addition, the hotel organised a donation drive for gently used cosmetics. These items will support volunteers who provide make-up services for funeral ceremonies, while unused products will be donated to organisations that offer vocational training for children with disabilities.

The initiative reflects the hotel’s commitment to recognising the contributions of women in the workplace while encouraging a culture of sharing, appreciation, and meaningful social engagement.
