Bangkok – Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao Bangkok has been awarded the Certificate of Recognition for Friendly Design for MICE Venue by the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), reaffirming the hotel’s readiness as a fully standardised venue that ensures inclusive accessibility and safety for all user groups. The certificate was officially presented on 12 December 2025 at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC), Bangna.

The award follows a comprehensive assessment conducted in accordance with national criteria for inclusive design in event venues, an initiative continuously implemented by TCEB to enhance the standards of Thailand’s MICE infrastructure. The programme aims to strengthen confidence among event organisers, participants, and all related stakeholders, while aligning with national inclusive design standards that are internationally recognised. The evaluation encompassed physical facilities, supporting amenities, safety systems, accessibility for the elderly, persons with disabilities, and the general public, as well as overall design that promotes equitable use in every dimension. Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao Bangkok successfully met all assessment criteria in full.

He noted that this certification is a significant testament to the hotel’s commitment to elevating MICE venue standards in terms of safety, modernity, and universal friendliness, enabling the hotel to confidently host meetings, seminars, and exhibitions at both national and international levels.
