Bangkok – Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao Bangkok proudly demonstrated its culinary creativity by sending Chef Yo, Yothin Cottanee, Head Chef of Blue Sky Restaurant, to take part in the inaugural “Thailand’s Oyster Shucking Championship”. The competition was held on Saturday, 27 September 2025, at The Dining Room, Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok.

The event drew significant attention from the culinary community and professional chefs across the country, serving as a platform for talented chefs to showcase their skills in oyster shucking a discipline requiring speed, precision, and finesse. The winner of the championship earns the honour of representing Thailand at the prestigious “World Oyster Shucking Championship” in France.

Chef Yo, Yothin Cottanee entered the competition with determination and expertise. Despite the highly intense and challenging atmosphere, his participation was a valuable opportunity to demonstrate his talent while gaining experience to further enhance his work at Blue Sky Restaurant, ensuring memorable dining experiences for hotel guests.
