The school has announced the continuation of the ‘King’s Bangkok Academic Excellence Scholarship’ for its second year. For the academic year 2024/2025, this scholarship is available for secondary school students (Years 10 and 12) to support them through the Senior School with the potential for further financial support until completing a bachelor's degree, with a total maximum value of up to 5 million Baht. This non-obligatory scholarship aims to be granted to those academically high-potential students, proficient in English, who may not otherwise have access to the international school system, thereby extending their higher education opportunities. The scholarship seeks students with exceptional potential to join the King's Bangkok family, where they can grow together, and contribute to creating sustainable value for society. Through this programme, King's Bangkok hopes to further promote Thailand's positioning as an education hub in the region.

‘King's Bangkok Academic Excellence Scholarship’ provides free tuition for students entering Year 10 (Mathayom 3) or Year 12 (Mathayom 5), continuing through Year 13 (Mathayom 6) and university, without any obligation. This groundbreaking academic scholarship, supported by the private sector, was the first of its kind in Thailand, aiming to support students from Senior School through higher education. The scholarship covers tuition fees and other related educational expenses. Moreover, students who pass the required tests and pursue studies at leading universities may continue to receive scholarship subsidies until they complete a Bachelor's degree, of up to 1 million Baht. Therefore, if a student enters Year 10 at King’s Bangkok, they could potentially receive up to 5 million Baht of financial support from their first day until graduation.

In the first year of 2023, the ‘King's Bangkok Academic Excellence Scholarship’ received a response that exceeded expectations, with an overwhelming number of interested students submitting applications from across the country. Following rigorous selection procedures, the school awarded scholarships to students in Year 10 (Mathayom 3) and Year 12 (Mathayom 5) from Bangkok and other provinces.

For the academic year 2024/2025, we are offering opportunities to students who are preparing to commence their studies in Year 10 (Mathayom 3) or Year 12 (Mathayom 5) following specified age criteria, eligible candidates should demonstrate good behaviour, with excellent academic performance for the past two years (with a minimum GPA of 3.40 for students in the general Thai system), with exceptional proficiency in listening, speaking, reading and writing in English. Students currently enrolled in international schools must also hold a financial aid scholarship to be considered for a ‘King's Bangkok Academic Excellence Scholarship’. The scholarship aims to expand educational opportunities for students who do not have the necessary financial support to access education within the international school system.
